DEES-Capitol-Police StateThe terrifying legislation that allows for Americans to be arrested, detained
indefinitely, tortured and interrogated — without charge or trial — passed the

Senate on Thursday with an overwhelming support from 93 percent of lawmakers.

Only seven members of the US Senate voted against the National Defense
Authorization Act, despite urging from the ACLU and concerned citizens across
the country that the affects of the legislation would be detrimental to the civil rights
and liberties of everyone in America. Under the bill, Americans can be held by the
US military for terrorism-related charges and detained without trial indefinitely.

Additionally, another amendment within the text of the legislation reapproved
waterboarding and other “advanced interrogation techniques” that are currently
outlawed.
Waterboarding, sleep-deprivation and other methods outlawed in the
2005 Anti-Torture Act will be added to a top-secret list of approved interrogation
techniques that could be used on suspects, American or others.

Mysterious ‘Freedom Group’ buying up gun companies
The New York Times — Natasha Singer

In recent years, many top-selling brands—including many top-selling brands —
including the 195-year-old Remington Arms, as well as Bushmaster Firearms and
DPMS, leading makers of military-style semiautomatics — have quietly passed
into the hands of a single private company. It is called the Freedom Group
and it is the most powerful and mysterious force in the American commercial gun
industry today.
… Within gun circles, the Freedom Group is something of an enigma. Its rise has
been so swift that it has become the subject of wild speculation and
grassy-knoll
conspiracy theories. In the realm of consumer rifles and shotguns — long guns,
in the trade — it is unrivaled in its size and reach. By its own count, the Freedom
Group sold 1.2 million long guns and 2.6 billion rounds of ammunition in the 12
months ended March 2010, the most recent year for which figures are publicly
available.
Behind this giant is Cerberus Capital Management, the private investment company
that first came to widespread attention when it acquired Chrysler in 2007.
… [Freedom Group] is s
o large, in fact, that rumors about the Freedom Group —
what it is, and who is behind it — have been circulating in the blogosphere. Some
gun enthusiasts have claimed that the power behind the company is actually
George Soros, the hedge-fund billionaire and liberal activist.
Mr. Soros isn’t behind the Freedom Group, but, ultimately, another financier is:
Stephen A. Feinberg, the chief executive of Cerberus.

Gingrich, Newt
FULL OF GAS — Presidential aspirant Newt Gingrich would solve America’s problems
by bombing Iran
and extending America’s open-ended Israel entitlement program.

US Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has called for a military strike
against Iran’s refineries to stop the country’s peaceful nuclear program. … I
n a
2012 presidential debate in Washington t
he former House speaker opined that the
US could break Iran within a year with
“cutting off the gasoline supply to Iran and
then, frankly, sabotaging the only refinery they have.”
In an earlier presidential
debate, Gingrich advocated increased covert terrorism against Iran.

War clouds form over Iran
Strategic Culture Foundation — Wayne Madsen
http://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2011/11/10/the-war-clouds-form-over-iran.html

… Israel has de facto control over the foreign affairs committees of Congress,
so any White House notification of the need to contact Iranian officials would be
instantly transmitted to Binyamin Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem and Israel
would then circumvent any U.S.-Iranian contact. AIPAC, with its resolution, is
further making the United States a vassal of the Jewish state … President Obama
is under tremendous pressure from the Israel Lobby during an election year to
support an Israeli military strike on Iran, action that will inevitably lead the United
States military in the Gulf region into war against Iran on behalf of the Tel Aviv/west
Jerusalem regime.
